As many of you will know Suicide Prevention & Intervention (SPIIOW) is a suicide prevention charity that helps anyone with thoughts of suicide. We encourage people to use this new phone number and to reach out if your having thoughts of suicide or, if you’re worried about someone with thoughts of suicide (or if you think suicide could be involved) who may act on them thoughts, From this our team will use our skills and training and act to intervene and to encourage more hopeful solutions than suicide. Important – Is your life in danger? If you have seriously harmed yourself – call 999 for an ambulance or go straight to A&E, Or ask someone else to call 999 or take you to A&E.
Sarah Adams of Suicide Prevention & Intervention IOW says:
SPIIOW needed to make the move towards a new phone system that could not only deal with the growing needs of SPIIOW, but have lots of extra tools within the phone system and the touch of a button. Jamie from ITG was a massive part of the plan from start to finish and securing a phone number that was quick and easy to remember which was also a key part of what our needs were and ITG matched all of that.Jamie Stewart from ITG says:
It has been a privilege to work with such a dedicated and sensitive group of people, ITG are honored to have been a part of this transition process.
