Donations & Supporting Suicide Prevention
Preserving the historical funding architecture while ensuring 100% financial transparency and directing charitable support to active, registered Island services.
Financial Integrity & Non-Collection Policy
This website does NOT collect financial donations, solicit funds, or accept payment details. This domain is maintained strictly as an independent public-interest information and archival resource. To protect donors and uphold highest standards of charity law, we do not provide bank accounts or payment gateways for non-operational bodies.
Historical Funding Approach
Historically, SPIIOW was sustained by grassroots donations from Island residents, community fundraising initiatives, small business sponsorships, and philanthropic grants from Island trusts such as WightAID and local supermarket community schemes (e.g. Tesco Bags of Help). Funds were used to produce suicide prevention literature, emergency helpline posters, and educational workshops.
